Is anybody concerned that since this is the first generation of the phone, and the OS, that there will be lots of bugs/issues? It's definitely something I've thought about, but it doesn't really worry me much. Just curious to hear others opinions on it.

With any thing new you will see bugs but they will be fixed via patch's and the phone will just get better and better. people are still selling the first gen 4gb iphones for 3-400 dollors easy they havnt really lost their value. if its a good phone it will be around for a while. i just hope we dont see the g2 to soon :P

Why would you not want to see the G2 too soon? More devices will lead to more competition, which should lead to better devices for the consumer.

it is cuz we bought the G1 and if the G2 is more superior than the G1. I'd feel ripped/gypped

i want to see a g2 no question but if it were released to soon that would mean they had some ideas in mind and pushed the g1 out and put all the cool crap ont he g2.

At least theres no chance of them dropping the price by like $200 like a month after it hits the market *cough*iphone*cough* just be glad you weren't sucked into THAT mess

I wonder how much of a pain bug fixes and updates will be. When they roll out a new version of the os will it be something you download to your computer and install though an interface program or will it be installed through wifi?? Seeing as how android runs on Linux we shouldn't even have to shut the phone off to update it.

It doesn't do any kind of syncing, so I would imagine it would be an OTA update. Especially with it being on the 3G network.
