I been looking around and I came across this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDSDQ-016G-A11M-Sandisk-16GB-Microsd/dp/B001F6YRNO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=12229250 06&sr=8-7"]http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDSDQ-016G-A11M-Sandisk-16GB-Microsd/dp/B001F6YRNO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=12229250 06&sr=8-7 [/ame]
One thing I've noticed its only a class 2. I'm not sure if the new cards are only going to be class 2 for now. Its for $109.99 plus shipping.
T-Mobile US Stock Rom & Android Froyo 2.2 FRG33 (mccm); LinPack 38MP; Quadrant 1750
You should probably stick with an 8gb then wait a few months. By then, the price for 16gb should be nearly half that.
Well how much of a difference is the speed of the card going to make? Between a class 2 & 4. I'm sure a class 4 is twice as fast. At 2MB/s that shouldn't be slow at all. I guess if your recording video to the card it would. Beyond that would it make a difference? I don't have much experience with different speed cards does a faster card really show? At least for phone/media player uses?
yeah wait for the prices to drop a little, but check this 8gb!
Kingston has a 5 year warranty I believe, and makes great memory plus it's class 4.

Hope we all get our G1's and other great android products soon!![]()
Black G1 - Dead Pixel
Replacement #1 - "B" key worked 70% of the time
Replacement # 2 - Lets Hope 3rd Phone's a charm!
I saw that the other day but i don't completely trust it. Its not amazon selling it, its a marketplace seller, where you can easily list things you don't even have. I find it hard to believe that this one guy has it and nobody else does, including amazon themselves. Normally the marketplace for any memory card has a bunch of sellers pushing it.
yea, if i happen to fill an 8Gb class 4 -- i'll just get a second one of them for the time being... given that i can get (4) 8Gb's for the price of (1) 16Gb card... it doesnt make much sense to me
[i wouldnt be a huge fan of carrying extra cards around...but i could just keep music and movies on one...and worry about it when i want to watch/listen it shouldnt be a big deal]
