Uninstall kindle and redownload from the market, should fix it. Mine works fine on my Nexus One.

Hi. I have just solved this problem on my Nextbook 3. I disabled several programs which were constantly running in the background, ex: weather updates, etc. Now I can use my Kindle app. I speculated that there was a sharing power problem which this remedies. I realized it when I had the reader plugged in for a recharge and tried the app one MORE time: it opened!!. Could also have been a wireless prob re sharing, since Kindle autosyncs upon starting. Good luck.

The Amazon Kindle is an e-book reader developed by Amazon.com subsidiary Lab126 which uses wireless connectivity to enable users to shop for, download, browse, and read e-books, newspapers, magazines, blogs, and other digital media. The Kindle hardware devices use an E Ink electronic paper display that shows up to 16 shades of gray, minimizes power use and simulates reading on paper.
