It is. But some planes not only allow you to use WiFi but also have an internet connection through WiFi. To take advantage of this, some phones allow you to turn airplane mode on, and then toggle WiFi.

On both it says no internet connection when trying to install from website.

Android Market on my computer did send a downlaod to my phone. It's INSTALL that is blocked.. says for security reasons.

Under Settings, Applications.. there is no check box for "allow outside connections" or whatever it says that another website suggested we check off.

Disgusted. It's an Android Market, why the hell is it so difficult? It's ALWAYS something with this phone, always
