    Hi

Here is a question I have not had much luck getting an answer on. I still am having trouble understanding memory usage and a couple of the numbers I am seeing. Under SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>RUNNING SERVICES, at the bottom of the screen I see "Avail:21MB+152MB in 44, Other: 117MB in 11." Please tell me what that all means. Is it something to do with the RAM? How much RAM is best to have available? Where can I find out that number?

I have ASTRO and love it for my files but can't seem to find a clear reading of RAM usage. I also have this App called "Linda Manager" and in the Task Manager page of that app under Performance it says my free memory is 55.74MB. I don't even want to keep the Linda Manager but it's the only place I think I can find the RAM out.

    Grateful for any help.

Hi, I'm new here and new to Android phones. Typically I have owned Blackberry phones and an iPod Touch. I was tired of having multiple devices and bought the Droid X. I have found some great apps, but I'm trying to find a way to have a custom ring tone for specific contacts, like I was previously able to do on my BB. Is this possible and if so, what do I need to do?

I was able to transfer my extensive amount of contacts from my Palm Centro to my recently acquired Droid X using advice posted in one of your forums. Now how do i go about tranferring my calendar information from my Palm Centro to the Droid X?

Thanks for any help and guidance that you can provide.

    Steve
