Ok, I have had the G1, then went to the Droid, and while I loved it, it was a little bulky and awkward for me in the keyboarding department. I found myself using the touch keyboard more often. When the incredible came out, I was first in line, it has an 8MP camera and all touch, snapdragon processor, blazing fast speed. And now with Froyo, it is a hotspot and video powerhouse. Battery life could be better, but with the use of app killers nad smart use of my phone, I can go two days without charging (and I am constatnly emailing and texting from it.)
I went into the store because I wanted to check out the new Droid 2 (same issues as old droid for me) and droidX. I coveted the 4.3 screen and imagined running video on that monster. But when it came down to it, the droid X was slow, sluggish, and took time loading apps and even changing screens. My incredible never did that, and still doesn't. Get the incredible, be smart about appkilling and display settings (and for god sake, dont run wifi and gps unless you need it) and the phone will work fine for you.
Actually, your incredible is the slowest of verizons line up. The droid x is much faster. It was probably set on smart mode where it doesn't use the processor to its potential. And be smart about using your phone? People are gonna buy a phone that works around them. Not the other way around
