You don't remove a rom, you wipe and flash another one. If you want to go back to stock, download the stock rom.
Who put this on to begin with??
Hopefully if it wasn't you. it was someone with the knowledge to do something like Nandroid before. I still have my original Nandroid on my phone when it was completely stock.. Thats like an image of how it was before. and I can go back if needed.
If you have any nandroid's of the stock setup. Do a Restore, otherwise flash a stock rom or the stock OTA zip in recovery.

If rooted using revolutionary this will get you back to unrooted stock:
1. Save the attached file to the SD card and go to http://goo-inside.me/supersonic/ruu and download 4.53.651.1 PC36IMG.zip and save that to SD card as well.
2. Rename PC36IMGS-On.zip to PC36IMG.zip
3. Go to HBOOT and flash zip (this unroots your phone)
4. Reboot and rename previous zip back to PC36IMGS-On.zip
5. Rename PC36IMGstock.zip to PC36IMG.zip
6. Go to HBOOT and flash zip which takes a few minutes to complete
7. Reboot phone once it asks and you will be at the setup process for Sense 2.3.3
8. Go to system updates, check for all updates (HTC software update will bring up most recent security patch to install)
9. Enjoy unrooted stock 2.3.3
