Dell 1.6 (rogers) to Dell 1.6 O2

Hello People,

I am trying to convert my Rogers 1.6 to a O2 1.6 so I can then upgrade to Steve's 2.2 build. Only problem is that I constantly get stuck on the first step. This is when I go into fastboot mode, it keeps saying Connect USB for Fastboot Recovery mode, then Windows XP tells me that I do not have the drivers. It gets stuck there and cannot proceed any further. If any one has the solution to this please help.

Other forums have said that installing Dell PC Suite should provide everything you need, but that never works for me, I have installed and un-installed and re-installed it over and over again, and it keeps getting stuck at that step.

Also anyone who has done this with their Rogers device already and has worked for you, please if it's not too much trouble can you post some steps if not a guide that you followed.
