Not receiving texts or calls.

I've searched the forums; and although there are similar threads, I don't feel any of the responses suit my situation.

I've had my Desire on contract with Vodafone for around 1 year now. No troubles at all; cracking phone. However, unknown to myself, it hasn't been receiving any calls or texts for the past couple of days. I only found out when my friend said he'd been texting and calling me all day friday and then family saying they had text me a couple of times over the weekend as well. This could have been going on for a while...

The reason being is that I can still send texts and calls, which is pretty weird.

I'd never left the house all weekend so it was connected to WiFi all the time which I don't see why that should be the problem. I've deleted my SMS inbox (thought it may have been full; took the phone over 5mins to delete them all), my call log and uninstalled any recent apps that i've downloaded since 2 weeks ago and still not receiving either. I can't see it being a problem with the signal; I live in a suburb of Newcastle and have done all my life and generally always have 3G when i'm out and about; plus it's been fine since I got it, until now.

Anyone have any idea's?

Does this happen at home,away from home, or both? I assume that if this happens in different places using different cell towers it could be an issue with your phone. Maybe go into the network selection setting (by going to settings > wireless & networks > mobile networks) , scan for available networks and choose your carrier and try again. If that doesn't work you may want to try a factory reset. Hope this helps.
