well neither do i i just think its not good for your phones. rooting almost killed my g1.

Let's make a thread about being anti-boulders ! While I was hiking , a boulder almost killed my g1 ! But my rooted superphone resisted it !

Anyways , there is nothing wrong with rooting your phone . Like everything else , just be careful while modding it , and it will be ok . Rooting is a PERSONAL preference !

Sadly in all truth a boulder ran over something of mine a few weeks ago, wasn't my phone, it was my ankle! :[ hahaha that day was hectic.

Sadly , I've been there too . Poor ankle ! I had one bounce off my head also( ok , it was smaller than a boulder ) , and a scar to prove it !

No, no, NO! Rooting did not almost kill your G1. YOU trying to root almost killed your G1.

Rooting is not for everyone.

I figure that a generous estimate of how many G1 owners should root, is 5% (it's probably actually half that or less).

Just like there are folks (most folks) who should not own cars capable of going 200mph or have a "The Button" (cold war nuke reference) or carry large quantities of pure liquid nitro glycerine around....
