Rooting Droid Incredible with Froyo

I'm almost 100% sure none of the phones will have this feature, its for unlocked phones only. The Nexus might be the only phone to get it.

So I am stock on Android but I did root. Hijacking thread because it is the same topic really.

I used unrevoked 3 and did a nandroid backup. I've installed wifi tether and also a few other apps like titanium backup. Everything looks great and I am getting more familiar with the process.

What happens when you have a stock phone that is rooted and an OTA comes out? Do you have the ability to just load the new stock OTA even though you are rooted? I see the information about the Unrevoked forever deal that puts S-Off but it isn't clear to me that I need to do that.

I was thinking it probably just removes root access when it loads the OTA?

I'm happy as is. I still want to try froyo now but I am reading as much as I can about the radio update and S-Off to understand it.
