I already had an HTC Incredible when I bought my 2012 Chevy Cruze and it worked perfectly.... UNTIL Verizon had an OTA Gingerbread update. In my Jeep all I had to do was unpair and re-connect and it works, but in the Cruze it just intermittently connects and disconnects. However, I read a temporary solution online to this problem and it worked for me. I unpaired the vehicle from my phone, then removed the phone from the device list on the car. Went thru setup again, and when the phone prompted for the 4 digit pin from the car I put the pin in then my phone asked for permission to sync my phonebook with the car. I selected "no" and it stays connected now. The only problem is that everytime I start my car, my phone beeps at me and asks for permission to sync the phonebook (even though I checkmarked the box that says "always do this" when I selected "no"). As long as I respond to the prompt everytime the bluetooth works. Still works flawlessly in the Jeep, so I'm thinking it's Chevy's problem. I'll check again in awhile to see if the dealer has an update for the Cruze firmware. I hope this helps others who are having the same problem.
