Mobile Hotspot is a feature that you pay extra for on your cellphone plan. If you are already paying for this, you can enable it by:

    Opening your application menu.
    Select 3G Mobile Hotspot.
You can add enryption to your WiFi Hotspot by selecting security drop down and choose from available options.
Your default password is 1234567890 but can be changed.
Hit the 3G Mobile Hotspot to activate.

    I hope this helps!

i went into the menu. i found the hotspot/wifi part. i do have the hotspot on my plan. i made sure of that, so we can get rid of the internet in the house. not that it's bad, it's verizon also. i'm just not going to pay for internet 3 times.

    my husband's phone
    the hotspot in the house

Were you connecting your phone to your computer with a USB cable? If so, you should not need to do this. The phone's HotSpot connectivity is Wifi. So, just enable to wifi broadcast with the app, and then use your "network connections" manager on your computer to locate the signal and connect.

    That's great! Congratulations!

Don't forget, you can also wireless share your HotSpot connection with Laptops, tablets, or even other phones.

    Have fun!
