I ordered a Zenithink zt280 on the 5th November, received it in the UK on the 22nd November and it was well packaged.
I have had a couple of queries and Merimobiles have been prompt and efficient with their replies.
OK I have not had to return anything but so far I would recommend them.
Unfortunately, it appears I've just joined the ranks of the many people who have been screwed around by Merimobiles in Montreal, Quebec.
I'm close enough that I could actually go there and rip their throats out.......but that would add unnecessary cost to my new Novo tablet......not to mention get my nice clothes all messed up.
Does anyone have any background on these folks? Like, who the hell are they? Are they Chinese? (Sure don't sound like it no the phone.......well, at least on the "auto attendant" on the phone......they NEVER answer in person.)
Wish me luck; I placed my order on Jan 10...received 'shipping notification' 3 days later.......and am yet to be able to get any tracking information when I key the tracking number into DHL's website.
C'est la vie. (That's life!)

Never mind "shipping issues".............this company has a ton of things to learn about how to do business...starting with not building unreasonable expectations in terms of product, pricing and delivery.
I say "starting with..".....but when you think about it, that covers almost EVERYTHING about BEING in business! ANY business.
I ordered a Novo tablet on Jan 10, 2012 and received an email 3 days later with a tracking number in it so I could (presumably) keep tabs on the progress of my unit's travel. I assumed it was coming from China as soon as I clicked the tracking 'link' and was taken to DHL's web-based tracking utility. (They're one of most popular shipping companies for Asia-to-Americas delivery.)
But when my tracking # was "not found on the system"...I began to worry. For FIVE DAYS it still didn't show up. That's when I started to email and phone Merimobiles office in Montreal. ALL WITH NO RESPONSE!!! Ten phone calls........ten emails..........all UNANSWERED.
I literally had to go on their Facebook page and start slagging them mercilessly about a "French Canadian company being ridiculous by taking Chinese New Years holidays".....before I finally got an email response.
The content of their email?? BIZARRE, TO SAY THE LEAST: They start by telling me they can "take any holidays they want. They advised me that they'd removed my comments from their FB page. (fair enough). BUT they also gave me a new tracking link, this time to CANADA POST'S website (which of course does nothing!) (WTF???) And still, no information given about my order or its shipment.
So here I am, 11 days after giving them their money.......and I have no indication that the product is on it's way.
The worst thing however, as mentioned above, is the false expectations. Merimobiles: if you don't know when my order is coming, tell me. If you know it's going to be weeks in the process, tell me. If you know the tracking number will yield no results, don't give it to me. And for crying out loud, figure out whether it's coming by Canada Post or DHL BEFORE you send ME any shipping info!
me too. I purchased my phone in person from a person named "Jean".After 3 months of usage the mobile started to act weird. I contact jean for may times and after 2months of calling and tons of emails he replied that he is in china and I have to send my phone by mail for repair. I did not trust him because he is not punctual and do zero support. So I kept the phone. After 6 months, a year and now it is been after a year. I did again and I get the same reply but now from another guy called JAY. I am sure that this co. is not about building customers rather than getting monry out of our pocket. There are tens of webs selling mobiles. It is all about reliable customer support that build mutual respect. What I see with merimobiles.com is completely the opposite. Although I saw that guy in person yet he was acting as if it is business over seas or over the net.Be away from merimobiles.com and purchase your phone from a co. or a shop that you can reach further and in person so that your rights are reachable. SCAM is everywhere. Be careful/
