weak signal?

Has anyone else noticed weak signals on the Droid? I'm liking the Droid a lot but 3G seems to be weak in places where my crackberry had excellent signal. Suggestions?

I have gotten a very low signal a couple of times for maybe 10-15 mins max, but so far I've only had one place were my signal was extremely slow and weak till I left that area.

I have the opposite experience....my Verizon Blackberry would get 2 bars at home and my new Droid gets the full 4 bars of 3G throughout my house....so I am very happy with it!

The only signal problems I have had is that sometimes after leaving signal area (long train tunnel in my commute), it doesn't reacquire 3G after I reach the other side. twice I've had to reset the radio by turning it in/out of airplane mode to get back up and going. I've had issues in the same spot with other phones though, so I'm not sure how much of it is tower related.

Otherwise my signal quality has been similar to my old LG flip phone, which did quite well.

Be sure to update your roaming profiles if you haven't (*228, 2) to make sure your phone is recognizing all available towers in your area.

I have been getting the best signal of any phone i have had. it even works better then the BB 8830 i had before my storm.
