Moto Droid getting better as they are made?

So I finally broke down and got my boyfriend a Droid also. He liked mine so much and his bday is around the corner. Well, as I was playing with his, I noticed that his keyboard seems easier to use. The buttons are easier to push (like more or a click), while mine is kinda squishy. The definition of each button seems cleaner too. Just more defined, like I can feel each button. I didn't check his Production date, but mine is a 42/09, and I got mine on the day it came out. Has anyone else compared a newer one to their older one?

Phones are just weird like that, I always felt like the camera on the same device I had was better when I played with it in stores and it always was for some reason. [EFFFFIN Tmo Wing]

VZW doesn't use sim cards, except for World Wide use dual mode phones. They use ESN #'s.

He could just take it into verizon though and tell them to switch the number from his droid to the other and boom its his. His buddy gets the other.
