Hey Honda
I just watched a video of the Samsung Behold II, and man, that is one FAST phone!
Most people don't like the unique interface cube do-hicky, but it's only an option, you can go straight to the typical (or almost typical) Android home page.
Anyways, it's blowing me away, how fast and furious the new Android phones are coming out!
We kept hearing what? 10 before the end of the year?
Andoid market should get a BIG boost with all of the new customers!
Anyway, love the competition!
Yeah things are coming along. In the US we have what, 6 android devices out. And the Holiday phones arent even being debuted yet.
Unfortunately hands on review said even though the UI was beautiful it was really slow. However Sony assured that it will be made much faster in the 4 months they have until its release date.
I watched a video of the interface, and while the customized Rachel portion was slow, other parts of the phone were pretty fast.
The internet, map, etc. was fast.
I'm sure Sony will tweak the customized portion to make sure it runs quickly.
By the way, there are more then six android phones in the U.S. already!
It's mainly faster, uses less battery and has a nicer Market application - so I do think there's some appeal to it. I think the people who buy Snapdragon devices will really appreciate it if the OS used less battery - the processor is known to be a battery hog. The Acer Liquid apparently had to be powered down to 768mhz form 1ghz because battery-life was miserable at 1ghz
