That's up to t-mobile I think. The Galaxy S Korean version gets froyo in August. I'm hoping the international version I have from the UK will be end of August but I heard it's September.

The problem with the locked versions like the vibrant etc is you're still totally dependent on your carrier who won't issue the update until they know it works with their bundle of apps etc and they do more of their own customization work on it.

Samsung Galaxy S or Vibrant will soon get the android 2.2 Froyo update because i have come to know through this articles.

On the recent video showing the 2.2 work in progress, they're suggesting official 2.2 ROMs in mid-September.

Whenever this does come, will I get the OTA even if I'm rooted? I'm rooted but still on stock build, no custom rom

it will not be OTA. it'll be available via Samsung KIES software.
