Classic djunio style... always rocking the best!! Let me know how the two compare after you use the Vibrant for a while. I was intrigued by the device... but was unsure whether it would boom in the dev community.

I am hoping some nice custom ROMs become available. I personally do not like the TouchWiz BS [I am a custom UI hater]
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me

I try lol, will do. From my brief experience with it, its the best right now. The only thing that kinda ruins it for me is the iPhone look. Other than that its awesome.

I like the UI, in fact I like them all. Might be one if the few but I like seeing how Android functions in different forms. The opportunity of having choices is what attracted me to the platform. I hope to see more Android varieties, nothing can touch Sense though .

Its a different animal all together:
OK, here is the deal. My fiance and I sold our iPhone 4's to get the new Samsung Captivate for AT&T. (It took some doing, but I got her to let go of that locked down signal dropping no sensor having piece of crap), but I digress. My contact info in her phone is the problem. When she wants to send me a text, it automatically deletes the area code for my number, therefore she gets an error. The actual number in the contacts has area code. I NEED HELP with this because she is getting frustrated and wants to go back to her iPhone. Any help is appreciated.

I would delete your info from her phone, make sure u delete it all sometimes there would be a duplicate left with a nickname or something. Then call her, let her long press on the call and add. it that way without manually adding the information herself. Then once its in contacts, long press it and send the text and see what happens.
