    Bought two last night. Not too bad overall. Does not have an external led notification like all other Android phones. Does have some serious lag issues.

    One is mine and the fiance got the other one. Yes, I do want to root both of them. I rooted my MT3G and my Nexus 1 without any trouble. Seeing how this has only been out one day I think I will wait a bit until there is a solid easy way to do it.

    Actually, rooting the Galaxy S family phones is the easiest way to root I've seen other than the one-click method.

    Have you ever flashed a ROM? That's all you have to do to root, I probably would wait a day or two also.
