Memory Card not detected in Kies

greetings! i just bought Samsung Galaxy i5700 yesterday. when i sync it in my pc, i could not view or even place a file in my memory card? but when i access my phone, the memory is working fine. though i see a padlock icon besides the name. how can i configure that?
