i7500 UK Release Date

Don't think this has been posted yet. For those of us in the UK looks like we can expect the Galaxy to hit in under a week, though its certainly not going to be cheap..

Just been in touch with o2 Barnsley branch and the helpful guy there managed to find upcoming pricing deals and release dates.

Release date - week commencing 10th August

£44 a month - free handset
£35 a month - £97.86 for phone
£30 a month - £146.80 for phone
£25 a month - £195.00 for phone
£20 a month - £244.67 for phone

Obviously with this being an internet phone it would be an extra £7.50 p/m for web bolt on on any plan under the £35 one.

This guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about compared to some of the other eheh 'employees! iv'e spoke to from o2' so i think this should be accurate.
If anybody wants to phone the stores they seem to have this information on the system listed as 'I7500' NOT 'galaxy' so give that instead or you may draw a blank.

Edit: Just to add on, presumably everyone knows this but thats 18 month contract prices, they will be offering a 24 month at £5 cheaper per month and if you order online you get more texts! cant wait for this one.

O2 are doing pretty well atm, iphone,pre and now the galaxy but I still think anyone going to O2 for a smart phone will just see the big iphone on the home page and not even realise the rest are there
