email isnt working samsung galaxy

hello everyone

i noticed my email isnt working on my android samsung galaxy it has to be a setting somewhere. i also cant acces my gmail but i can browse the internet and all other things work. please help

care to be more specific? what do you mean your email isn't work.
how are you trying to access Gmail? through the gmail app? it should be automatic since you set up your phone with your gmail account.

well i have had to reset my phone a few times because i have completely lost all my screens you know where you have like 4 or 5 screens you can scroll through the screen with the clock etc. i went to verizon about this and they said i would have to do a phone reset. this issue was with my screens getting deleted only. so after i did a phone reset i had to add all my contacts again. i did enter my yahoo email as my main email . so on one of my screens that i am using now, it has a settings app on it, and a bing app, and a email app, and a browser app, and a voicemail one. on the screen im using now there is 9 different app's i can touch, and open it up and at the very bottom of my screen there are 4 more app's all along the bottom, a phone app and a contact app, and a messaging app, and a applications app. so on my email one when i touch my email app it goes to my yahoo email. and when i touch my applications app i find the gmail app and when i open it up it wants me to set up my gmail and when i try to set up my gmail it says checking username availabilty and after about 2 minutes it says my phone needs to connect to google servers and then it says cant establish a reliable data connection to the server. i have unlimited data and i can browse the internet i have tried to send my yahoo email on my phone a email from a diff email addy and it doesnt come through.
this has to be a setting that isnt checked or something.
