i cant delete an individual browser history item on my my touch slide

Can anyone Help me out? I want the ability to delete an individual history item on my browser history. All it allows you to do is delete intire history.

On both my G1 and my new vibrant, you have to go to bookmarks then there's a tab that says history. Click on that then find the item you want to delete. Longpress on that item and a menu should popup where you should see some sort of delete this item option. Click that and remember sometimes there are other items on the history list that are connected to that site if you followed a link or something so double check.

i tried going to bookmarks, then history, but when i long hold the item it wont pull anything up. it doesnt give me any opitons.

Is ur long press working on everything else? That's the only thing I can think of. I'm only speaking from my experience with my two droid phones.

ya, it is working in other areas, this is weird. im having a hard time no matter where i search to get an answer to this one. i was really hoping your suggestion would help. and thank you by the way.

I can get to the Tab as stated and seems to delete History but if you go back to a website ...in this case Craigslist ....the individual links that you have visited are still Highlighted ...so might need to delete cookies but not sure how .....m

Really the only way to do it is pull up your history and do the long-press on the particular item you want to delete. You could just tap menu>clear history from that pane, but i know thats not what you're looking for...

Now to avoid ever having to delete a single page from history, you may just want to press Menu> More > Enable Incognito Mode. That way you have a browser window that won't record your history.

Gracias' ...... That took care of the History but dont see "Incognito Mode" ?

It's basically the exact same thing as going incognito in Google Chrome, did you open the browser then immediately press menu > more > and then incognito should be the very top listing.
