I faced the same issue. I went through a longer way though. The method isnt highly recommended but what i did was backup the data via MobileGo software and then restore the phone to factory settings.
Restore to factory just erased the temp files. Huh, tough one, but still didn't work. Tried that before I posted my problem here. Thanks though.
