G1 Hard Case+Clip

So I was wondering what kind of hard case to get, i had been searching throughout the stores online looking for a nice hard case and so i found one on Ebay for 7.99 and i decided to go for it, especially since i got the white G1, i thought i would show off its sexiness...I got it in 3-4 days ago?? Here are some pics...

so heres what I like about it.

Pros:
-Its a nice, solid clear case, easy to put on, not hard to take off, it isn't shaky, loose, fits snug.
-It doesn't block the micro SD slot, doesn't hinder you from typing, nor pushing the home, send, end call, and back button or using the trackball.
-The clip, i can clip it to anything, and as you see form the pics, i use it as a kick stand

-Its clear! So i don't have to put on that clear sticky, invisible shield that looks like crap...honestly, that invisible shield for the whole phone looks bad, especially when you mess up a little putting it on...(just my opinion and no offense to the other G1 users who have it)...and then you gonna have to take it off and you cant put it back on....with the clear hard case, i can take it on or off anytime i want without it getting ruined

-That little spiral thing on the back...YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE IT ON...it doesn't screw into the phone or anything so don't worry, it screws onto the case and you only use it if your gonna use the clip

Cons:
-The clip is kinda loose, and since the G1 is big...it kinda looks weird when its just hanging there haha...but its not like i NEED to clip it on my pants...or belt loop...i clip it to my car, or pocket, or folder..ya haha
-Cons...nothing

Overall: I hope this was helpful to you, seeing pics and what not...umm for 7.99...i would say its worth it, i feel confident in my case, keeping my G1 safe

do you have trouble opening the dust cover (on the bottom) for headset or charger with this clear case on?

hmmm....not gonna lie...it doesnt hinder you at all. It might seem like it does but its pretty well cut out so you can open it with no problems.

...just as a side note...i took off that little spiral thing on the back cuz i got annoyed by the clip so ya, it still is awesome, i have dropped my phone 3 times so far and that case is definitely doing its job!

My G1 is too naked with just the pouch case it came with =/ lol.

ebay is awesome! Ya. def good for a cheap case, every now and then i will take it off to use the pouch or just use the G1 by itself because its def a lil thicker with the case(obviously) but ya

I keep my Body Glove case on the phone (I just undo the clip from the back)

And Yes! it thickens the phone (but the grip is comfortable) compared to not having nothing on the phone.

Ill always keep the case on just take it off when iam gunna clean from any dust particles that's about it

Great find! I just ordered mine so I cant wait.. The case that I've been using is just a nylon holster with velcro and had 2 different ways to keep to your belt, 1st is a metal clip and the 2nd is your standard slid your belt thru thing
