The best, and smallest hard case that I used for the MT3G was Seidio's Innocase. Not much added (they bill it as 1mm) but a good feel in the hand and sturdy. Hope this helps!
I just hate the hard shells that are provided by tmobile or htc. They feel cheap and they're ridiculously bulky... I have a silicon sleeve right now but it's annoying because it falls off easily and is hard to fit in my pocket.
Anyone know any good ones?
I was looking at the otterbox case, but I just wish it covered the earpiece part of the phone just like the hard shells do, but with the slim fit it already has.

I just hate how most of the nice slim cases only cover the side and back of the phone, not the front. The only cases that cover the front are the ridiculously bulky hard shells.

Just got my first droid (MyTouch 1.2) and I'm also looking for a great case. So far the most promising are the Seido's Innocase and Otterbox's commuter case.
The only problem is neither one of these have a cutout for the 3.5mm headphone jack.
If anyone has one of these, can you tell me if I'd be able to use a dremel tool to MAKE a cutout without compromising the case?
I know the innocase is a front & back and I don't want to drill through the catches.
