Default What about a PING utility?

The built in wifi scanning is great...but a ping utility would be VERY nice for network troubleshooting.

Listing signal strength would be nice too.

If you download pTerminal from the Android Market you can run ping and verious other commands. Still a little buggy but it works.

I tried it and it works like a charm!

Thanks for the info.

I haven't figured out how to get it to do a continual ping (as with the -t switch), but perhaps there will be an update.

The continual ping would be VERY helpful.

ping 192.168.1.1 works
ping www.google.com works

nice.

if you create with anycut a new shortcut \activity\testing when you press this shortcut in the desktop, select phone information and will see info about imei ,run ping test, gsm signal,ip and some more option. press menu \more and you will access to select if you like (disable data on boot).
