Lightbulb Some applications i'd like to see

I tryed to check if these have been suggested, sorry if i have any repeats.

Ok, first off, if someone talked pangeasoft into porting over their enigmo game and others from the iPhone, i would kiss their feet. That game is AWSOME. The graphics are super, enigmo and bugdom are reasonable challenging and you cant beat their app store price.

As far as other games go, id like to see something like brain-age or what not, not just these constant remakes of sokudo and jewel quest. Something challenging if not graphics intense. Some 3D mazes would be REALLY cool, maybe in conjunction with the compass?

I personally will really need and expense tracker application, something where i can put in my bi-weekly and monthly bills (as a reminder of what to pay) and where i can keep track of other incidentals.

A calorie tracker with access to some sort of USDA food database with a calories burned calculator would be great for people like me who try to keep an eye on our weight.

A native gasbuddy app would be really useful.

A visual/audio/text note keeping app.

Also, an interactive grocery list where maybe i could scan a barcode of an item i have on my list so it will save the price, so as i build a database of things i normally buy at the grocery store i'll know how much is in my cart and only have to do it once per item per store. (and so i don't have to stop in the middle of the isle for long to notate the price!) So eventully i can just add items from a database to my shopping list, check them off as i get them, and the total will be summarized.

And of course some NES or SNES emulators for zelda roms! If not just a port of zelda! haha!

I have had an idea for an app that would be useless most of the time, but when its needed it could be a savior! I tried to build it in Lua for the PSP but couldn't figure out the programming!

But basically a Text Scroller...Have an interface with a text box where you can type in whatever you want, maybe some boxes with different colors so you can choose the color of text, maybe a size box....but basically you type your text, choose your color and/or size...then hit Go...and it will scroll your message as large as the screen. The PSPs screen was a perfect size for this, not sure about the G1 screen.

But i could see this being helpful at concerts, games, in public when you see that hot chick across the room from you...or in the next lane on the highway. Like sending a public text without knowing anyones number =)

It's always interesting to me to see how different people handle different things with technology or without:

PixelHenge:"I personally will really need and expense tracker application, something where i can put in my bi-weekly and monthly bills (as a reminder of what to pay) and where i can keep track of other incidentals."

I put all my bills on my calendar as zero-minute events on the due date, usually around 10am, with a reminder the week before. I was also able to get a few of my utilities (T-Mo was one of them!) to move my bill due dates so that now not everything has to be paid with the same paycheck.

PixelHenge"Also, an interactive grocery list where maybe i could scan a barcode of an item i have on my list so it will save the price, so as i build a database of things i normally buy at the grocery store i'll know how much is in my cart and only have to do it once per item per store. (and so i don't have to stop in the middle of the isle for long to notate the price!) So eventully i can just add items from a database to my shopping list, check them off as i get them, and the total will be summarized."

Math is not one of my strong suits, so I just round the individual dollar amounts up and use that to estimate my bill + tax. My estimate always ends up being more than what the actual bill is, which is always a nice surprise.

Android0523:"I want an application that lets you blacklist some callers"

I've done that without an app. I just changed their names to something like "NO - First Name" and their ringtone to "silent", so that unless I've got my phone in my hand, I won't even know they called. I also created an "A-List" group so that I sort my contacts that way and only see the people I want to see.
