As stupid as it is i have a lot of buddys rocking the Iphone and they really like the keyboard on the G1, so an app for that would be cool but a lot of people like the keyboard.

yes this phone def need some sort of onscreen input. esp when u just want to make a call. i hate having to open my phone and hitting a letter then scrolling down or doing the same to enter a website. i dont think there should be a full keyboard but something just for vertical mode. idk but something needs to be done

Found a solution to all u pple who bitchin about V. Keyboard, use ur G1 camera take a piture of a full size keyboard and set it as ur wallpaper that should work for now...or u have to wait a little longer , some of as r lucky that we got our phone 2 days early and yet some of us haven't receive their phone yet. So pple patience.
