Mass text

Need an app to do groupings for mass texting. I know my old BB had this feature where you can add everybody you wanted to mass text into a group.

You can just put a comma (,) next to the phone number of the person you are texting, and can add another number. You can keep doing this too. Not sure if they have a limit or not though, I wouldn't know because I usually don't have to mass text people.

It becomes tedious if you have to keep doing it. They should make it where you can store people as a group. Then you can just pick the group name and it will list out all the numbers in that group

Grouping people is more of a pain. What if you only wanted to text three people, and they are all in different groups?

I prefer the comma method. Makes it a bit easier.

I am with TT, there are certain mass texts that i send on a regular basis. A grouping option is very much preffered for this. I dont want to:
A) remember all 50 or so people i want to text
B) type all their names out
everytime. We at least need a way to scroll through and select which contacts to add to a text.

Wow, you need to mass text roughly about 50 people at a time?!

Sure as hell makes me feel like a loser.
I text one person at a time, if that! My phone is pretty quiet for a good portion of the time.

what about setting up a special twitter account for something like that? 50 people? Yikes!

haha. you gotta let people know whats going on. I have a couple weekly things that I set up and I invite about 40-50 people. I cant be the only one.

this is a makeshift solution

Its easy to mass or group text, thank god, you simply create a contact. In the phone number field input a friends number then put a comma after and add another contact once you are done give the contact a name and voila! When u start a new text simply enter the contact name and you instantly text a group of people

I ran into this problem too but what I did was compose a message and in the "to" field i put everyone's name i was txting separated by a comma. This creates a thread. All you would need to do is go into that thread and send a message and it'll go out to everyone that was listed. As long as that thread is there you text to that "group"

It wont be easy if you have multiple groups.
