Different, more efficient call log...

The platform is open, so I am throwing this out there to see what others think....

A threaded call log....I personally like the message threaded system and think the call log would be really great too... Having one number (or contact) then ['ajax'] underneath it to a simple listing of the info (date, time, duration) for each time called (maybe separate for each week, like a purge).

Say it be a total of 51 calls for one person one week, you could find the call date and which calls were longer pretty quickly and not have to scrounge through messy call listings.

Sort of an indepth of the online statement of callings. That would be better in my opinion. Possible though?

I wish they just did times like any other phone instead of making me subtract hours, and I can't see what time somecalled if it was a day ago??

This is a very good idea, and in addition to that:
I think that the G1 should tell you if the minutes spent in the call where mobile to mobile, whenever, or nights and weekends. And also totals of minutes spent, so you can avoid going over the limit.

Very good ideas. I think a lot of this can be fixed by expanding the preferences menu. Make the timestamp user-selectable for example (hours ago or time of day)

Can we make mothership threads for this sort of thing? Maybe have one for the Call Log, another for Mail, another for IM, another for SMS etc...

Yep yep, I remember few yrs ago, certain codes would work to get certain information about your account (min used, min left, etc.)...not sure if they still work, but its outdated anyway. We should have a very easy menu setup based around my tmobile, always updated...I think that would be very ideal.

@sdsviet, thanks but you miss-understood my intentions...to make current good, better more advanced (like the phone intends)

@Orange, lol not sure how you like it, to me its so unorganized. Atleast have the standard "Recieved", "Dialed", "Missed" filters...but it fails there too.
