Compass Idea

So I was browsing the Android Market today and I kept seeing all of these compass applications. this gave me an idea... all compasses point to magnetic north, but all maps are oriented in true north. So could someone come out with an application that figures out how much declination to compensate for? i'd guess you could do this either via GPS, or have the user put in their location every time. I haven't found a compass that does this yet, but if exists, just PM me and I'll get this thread deleted. Thanks!

I think it should be free...Most of the paid apps aren't worth it (still looking for one, but haven't found a single pay app I like yet).
