Another c&d huh, microsoft made no claims of being open so this is expected. But I dont see what the big deal is 6.5 has been on there forever.

It has been there for a VERY long time. It's probably another hoax like the one sent back in March.

However, if it is legit, it will be very interesting to see what Microsoft will continue with other flavors on the ROM. Both Microsoft and HTC need communities like XDA.

Yea they do but I think HTC and Android need it more than Microsoft.

You're right. Plus, I think to an extend, having these communities should and probably will become standard; at least in an open source system.

They do help alot and make stuff better, its good to have different ideas go into any project.

Lol, I think their mobile OS is weak simply because they are ****y and think the Microsoft name will get them by which it has. I know they can make a way better OS than what they have out. Mobile OS 7 should be good.

I had the T-Mobile Shadow which came with MS 6.0, which I then modded and put 6.1 on it. I wasn't all that impressed with MS mobile. Although it was comfortable since I've used windows desktop OS for so long. It was just kinda bland.

I'm loving Android and am so excited for it's future! I don't think these companies totally understand how much sites like XDA and other modders , really help their OS's. All these cease orders are getting rediculous if you ask me. Even though some may be technically understandable issues.
