Youtube not working correctly

I have been having a problem in that whenever I use wifi and try to watch videos, it usually never works and is either a dark screen with only sound or a colored screen with only audio. Only 3g works for video and I've tried many different wifi networks. I have yet to get an update and wonder if this only affects the g1s without the update. Have any of u guys had this problem and if so did you need to return it or did the update fix it for you

Its RC30 but I never updated it. Are the phones supposed to come out with the latest build? Excuse me for my mistake in my question I thought the phone wasn't updated to the latested build.

RC30 is the latest build. Try calling customer service or using the advanced search bar. Or google "G1 youtube not working"

Hey, i have been having the same problems. sometimes it works. sometimes it doesn't. i get the colored screen, i think green and kinda fuzzy or black, then says video cannot play, but has sound. It might be due to a weak wifi connection. Because when i'm in my back room, by the wireless, it seems to work. but not in my room across the house. Try that. and i have only used 3G once. beacuse it is about 10 miles south of me, we are in phase 1 of 3G here in KC, MO. Sucks. and i have had a few connection problems lately with my yahoo e-mail and the market.
