Wifi problems or my imagination?

Hello all,
I have twice had to turn wifi off and on again on my Hero to get it browsing/connecting again after a while. It said connected but nothing worked at the time. Not had problems with any other devices and happened once on another wifi spot.
Anyone else ever got similar problems?

I havent seen that problem on mine, except when i went to log in to the android market for the 1st time, it woudnt finish loading the terms of service for me to accept until i disabled wifi and used edge. but thats the only issue ive seen so far

Yes, going by other posts and other forums the Wifi on the Hero has probleems (mainly with N networks but also with certain routers).

A firmware update should fix it but unfortunately for those with branded handsets we don't know if and when the timetable for any updates is ready...

same thing with mine. just got it today. so just edge speeds for now i guess :-( i was counting on my wifi dang it. it shows connected full strength but no worky

No issues with mine though I've only been using my home router. My handset is also unlocked if that matters.

humm mine is unlocked also. Using a wireless N router (netgear), gonna try work tomorrow i hope it at least works there for now

Update: well the wifi worked at my office although it was slow and market place wouldnt load unless i turned it off and used Edge. Guess its an issue with my N router. I hope HTC releases an update soon
