Craiglist. it's where anything can happen![]()
anyone live in LA wanna check it out? I smell fake...... even if it is an authorized dealer I don't see how they can sell them before the 22'd. I would be afraid to show up and get jacked!!

^^^Yep, I used to sell T Mobile in the mall through an authorized dealer and some of the poeple that used to work there would do some shady stuff. I would be very skeptical, not only with the price(b/c usually with 1 year contracts the phone price is higher being that the service is for 1 year rather then 2), and giving them all your info. I would rather wait and do it legit and a corporate store. But however, there are some other authorized dealers who were able to sell phones for really low prices. Maybe Kaziko can comment on it. hes a manager at a corp. T Mobile store. I stopped working for the dealer in '07.
It sounds like it could be possible but I'd be very skeptical and careful about meeting the people. I'm not usually one to proclaim the internet is dangerous and will get you hurt, but shady things are usually shady and ran by shady people.
If you do, be careful, go with friends, be in public, don't care unnecessary money on you, the usual.
Oh, and authorized dealers do sometimes get better deals than "real" ones. I think it's because if the authorized dealer doesn't make it, it doesn't cost the company anything. If a "real" store goes out of business it will cost them money. I guess the deals are an incentive for them to exist![]()

If you decide to meet up - do it at a bank. Don't go with any money on you, and if the person is legit he'll meet you there, you'll draw the money, and exchange it in front of all that security. That's it.
