    Default What color is the back of a white G1?


    Until recently i though the back of a white G1 was silver/gray and i really wasnt happy about it. Then i noticed that in some vids/pics the back is silver, while in others it is white...

    Nice catch. Never noticed that till you pointed it out. I think the final product will be all white.

    Nice find. For some reason HTC has this pic click here .... I don't know why but its there

    I would prefer to see all white as it is on the first video posted...

    A lot of the computer made pictures of the white G1 show it with a silver back, however it will have a silver band on the side of it, with a white back.

    Sorry, couldn't find a pic that didn't have the iPhone in it.

    There isn't the T-Mobile branding on the top of the phone either though, so maybe it has changed.

    I've been looking around, and even in the emulator it's silver. Although all the T-Mobile branded black G1's are black. Now you've got me stumped, I hope its black though! lol, Ill look into it.

    Ok, I have it. The confusion is coming from the Black/Brown G1's since they look so much alike.
    The black G1 has a black keyboard.
    The brown G1 has a silver keyboard.
    Good question though, made me learn something.
