Voice Dialer

Anybody having problems with the voice dialer? My last few phones always worked very good with the voice dialing. Some had a training mode for the phone to know your voice and speech recognition. I love everything about the Hero but the Voice Dialer is crap. It hasn't come close to knowing what I'm saying. I speak very clearly into it and I don't have a accent or anything. But not once has it known what I was saying. Even the simple names-- e.g. "Call Nick"-- and it ends up asking to dial phone numbers I've never seen before or within the state I'm in. So is anyone else experiencing this or is my dialer defective?

Yes yes yes.. Is this an android issue? My razr, voice dial is fine, iPhone, voice dial is great, brand new moto droid, the voice dial does not work, at all. I say "call kevin" is says "dial 200-0002". What in the crap. The google voice recognition on the iPhone works great too, what is the problem here?
