No I havent rec'd anything to my phone as of yet
I havent either but for anyone looking to extend the battery life, I have been using the 2g only feature and the batter has lasted all day and still been on the net. Yeah it loses a bit of luster and speed but if you really want fast just switch back. I hope this helps for those who use their phone as much as I do. By the way my I could play my media player on my sony ericsson P1 for 5 hours straight without a charge, I hope the g1 will compete with that later.

Seem's to me like they are skipping 28 and going straight to RC29. A few people at www.engadget.com are claiming they already got the update. Go here for more info.

They are.
They had 28, but a security flaw was released or something, so they pulled that and fixed it with 29.
At least that's my assumption, and I believe a few others are on that theory too.
Its suppose to be rc29 cuz the rc28 had a glitch to where it Can expose Your passwords to hackers.
