Update questions

Is anyone at all aware of any confirmed info of all the problems with this phone and android being fixed whatsoever?

its getting close to my decision on this phone, and im prolly not gonna purchase if some vital things arent corrected

What do you mean by vital? If you mean security issues, then all currently known flaws have been patched and new updates will be released as problems are discovered.

bad choice of words, i meant, things that are actually on the phone not working correctly.. all the messaging problems for instance, notification problems...The memory problem... Are they still sending out faulty phones?

i ordered my phone about two hours after its announcement received it oct. 21 the day before its official release, although there are things that could be improved, i have not had a faulty phone.
messaging problems... maybe inconveniences no we can't save photos but i can forward them to gmail and save them from there.
notification problems? none.
memory yeah its low, but i can delete my browser history and it doesn't say.low memory, or if it comes dowb to it i could delete any of the unused apps i have saved, (but i actually haven't been forvced to do that.)
so as to your actual choice of words, the things not "working correctly" are imo just things that some ingenuity can get around. but if you don't want the phone all power to you i won't lose any sleep over it either way.

thats just it, i want the phone, But i do alot of messaging (which ive seen is horrible on the phone), and i handle alot of buisness thru incoming emails that i need to be notified of (which ive seen many people complain about), theres just some fuctionality issues that i see that will effect me if i purchase it... it was just a simple question to see if someone new if the fix for those problems, or replacements of apps were coming, so i could feel better about moving toward the purchase... a decision im gonna hafta make by dec 14th

Just for my .02 I use mine for work and depending on whats going on that day...slow days, maybe 50-60 emails...on a busy day it can top 150+ emails, I have never not received a notification. Even with it being routed to my gmail, I still get it almost in sync with my blackberry toting companions.

Messaging is really not bad on this phone...its a two handed job though (much like the sidekicks) and not as quick as say our blackberry and dash friends because of this

I have a crap load of calendar events set up through my works outlook and I did (for the first 2 days really) have a problem with the reminders there...but then found that for whatever reason they did not export to google calendar. That took me about an hour to fix but they have worked fine since.

Thx, i was just refering to the amount of people ive seen with notification problems, and the massive amount of people complaining about how the messaging services wont stay signed in, and mess up all the time, theyve called the actual aim, yahoo type messaging on the phone horrible, but its good to see that not everyone is having that problem, it puts a lil faith in that portion of the phone for me...
