Unlocked HTC Magic Rogers NAM Rom Upgrade to 2.17.631.2

HI

I bought a UNLOCKED HTC Magic NAM Rogers phone and I am happily using this on the AT&T network.

There is a new ROM out - 2.17.631.2 on Rogers and the HTC website for this phone. I am currently on Android 1.5 with 2.16.631.6 Build.

Has anyone tried this upgrade, I am a bit hesitant as I am not sure if upgrading to the new ROM will LOCK the phone again . Appreciate any feedback.

I did the update and for me it fixed the problem I was having connecting to my exchange mail. I'm also on AT&T and it did not lock the phone back to Rogers. See my post here:
