Trouble with animated radar

I'm having trouble with animated radar. It's not working for me. I've used it in the pastt and love it. Comes in handy when at an outside event and choosing to stay or go. Besides Ilm a bit of a weather junkie

I'm also unable to play the news videos on some of the more common sights.

Do I need a new flash plugin? If so which one ? Is a setting wrong?
