Toggleheadset widget

Since update 1.6 happened, toggleheadset widget no longer works with my HTC adapter to my line in for my car stereo.

Does anyone know if a new version is coming out as a workaround for the inability for the G1 to use the HTC adapter for in car stereos?

Don't know if anyone else noticed, but this headset issue isn't an issue on CyanogenMod.
