TMobile Insurance (Asurion)

Ok here is a doosie.

I had two insurance claims this year on my Krzr so I was told that my insurance was cancelled. I just recently purchased my G1. The TMobile rep tried putting on the insurance on my account and it wouldn't let them so I had to call Asurion. With Asurion you can only make a insurance claim twice on a TMobile number within a year. After that you have to wait a whole calendar year.

So basically I cannot get insurance on my G1. After 14 days you can't insure a phone. I was so pissed and wanted to return my phone. The thing is I love the hell out of it, I have had it since Monday 10/20.

look on the internet for a different insurance company, im sure there is one.

your best bet is to use the manufacturer warranty ..thats what i use with all phones ..plus theres no limit to it for a year .... trust me it works ...

Your car insurance company may also give you a policy on it. A friend of mine has his insured through state farm.

Excellent tip Robmpulse! I wasn't aware that they would consider insuring something like that. I'm calling my insurance company on Monday.

manufacturer warranty doesn't cover theft or physical damage and what not.
