T-Mobile G1 in WHITE

The White is very slick, if they would've had the option available when I pre-ordered I definitely would've ordered the White, but I am very happy with my Black G1, can't wait to get it!

One thing to keep in mind when picking a color is that whichever one you choose, the keyboard backlighting will work best with dark keys. I speak from experience, as my Sprint HTC 6700 had silver keys, and the backlighting was pretty difficult to see with the light keys, particularly the alternate characters. Hence I'm choosing the black one, which I'm hoping will not have the same problem.

That said, I think the white one is hands down the best looking of the three, but form over function for me makes the choice...

yeah.. that is a very good point, but honestly... after a few days on the thing im sure i will be tying without even looking at the phone.. and besides that...

Alternately, you can have the best of both worlds by buying both, taking them apart and swapping the keyboard. That way you have spare parts to boot.

The t-mo reps that I spoke with in store said that the white variety will not be available on 22nd... they're getting fixed.

this is so strange, ugh, because the other day i called t-mobile cs to ask if whtie would be available because of the chipping issues, the guy put me on hold so he could check with a supervisor and said yeah the 22nd would be the day just like black and bronze. still going to call my local t-mobile and ask in two hours haha

my local t-mobile store said no for white,

as did the t-mobile store in san fran that is doing the launch on the 21st at six >_<

if the store that is doing the only early launch in the nation doesnt have the white then i think we are out of freakin luck,

even though cs says it will be available... wtfffff
