This is the first time i ever post on a forum .
Forgive me if its not perfect.
First things first .
Hardware : Lighter than the HTC WING as far as weight is concerned .
The front feels like a smooth hard plastic but the back is like a rubber coated plastic for better grip . HTC WING users know what im talking about . The feel for it is not cheap like other reviews have said .
Screen : The screen feels like it has a layer of glass . Very vibrant and consistent . Response is impressive . As far as it being sluggish like other reviews have led us all to believe it has exceeded our expectations . The spring on the screen is not cheap .
Keyboard : The light on the keyboard is slightly dimmer than an HTC WING but we re not complaining . The input on the keyboard is good but not like a Sidekick where the buttons stick out .
Camera : Of course no video recording YET . Picture quality is pretty good . No complaints . If you want a great picture use your your actual digital camera . Camara adjustability is a plus . Can you say "shutter speed" 50 times fast ??
Chin : We love the chin . Trackball is really handy if you dont like touching the screen too much . All buttons light up except the trackball, sorry Sidekick3 users no cool lights .
miniUSB : Yes the chin does get hot when charging but not like you think it does .
Battery Life : Not enough time to play with phone to fully enjoy its battery life .
Speakerphone : it is pretty loud .
THE OS
Android 1.0 Firmware : Windows needs an update ASAP, face it, the future is here . Really great as far as functionality and applications . Its only crashed once in our presence and it was using google maps . it just returned you to the last thing we searched on maps and that was it .
very simple phone to use . easy to get used to as far as interface is concerned . The clock is a little annoying to look at . Digital is the way . thats our opinion .
oh yeah i forgot the iPhone can eat a **** ASAP !!! (now thats just my $.02)
MORE TO COME ... Tomorrow
THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY ON THIS COMMUNITY . EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS . The phone came from my friend who is a T Mobile Corp Sales Rep in HOLLYWOOD, FL . Yes its in our hands .
Questions are welcome .
