T-MO STores = New Contracts only

I went to go upgrade my phone after receiving a call saying that they got their shipment. So, I get in my car and head over there and to find out that they will only allow new contracts for the G1. DID I JUST GET HUSTLED? Yes, I did. I even told them on the phone that I will be upgrading. I wanted to strangle that stupid lady working the front desk for making me drive all the way over there during lunch traffic..stupid stuff.

Each store can sell them in any way that they want. They get bonuses for signing new contracts and smaller bonuses for extending contracts. A new contract means more money for a rep and a store. We're all just trying to make a living right?

Definately not true.
I passed by a store on my way home after work to play around with one.
The guy asked me if I had a plan already and checked if I was elegible for an
upgrade for which I was. I didnt buy it because I'm trying to get my boss to pay
for it.

If not I'll pick one up myslef.

my friend just bought one at the tmobile store here in Orange County, Ca.... walked right in, got a # ticket and bought the phone full pop. Easy! no lines, i went to 4 different T-mobile stores today, the mall had alot of people there around 10am but after 3pm there were hardly anything close to a line.
