Syncing google calendar with google phone

So far I love the google phone. But I am having trouble getting my google calendar on my phone? Should it automatically sync up? No info in the accompanying manual. So any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks

Mine automatically synced, but check in your settings to make sure that it is selected to sync. Settings>>Data synchronization>>select the calendar.. Right now I have a little icon next to Calendar that says "Sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly." I wonder if google is doing something with it?

Are you actually getting a synch error? Go to Settings > Data synchronization. If you are getting a synch error, you will see a little error icon by calendar.

OK i know this sounds silly, but the first time i looked at my calendar i thought it wasnt synched either. Turns out, it defaults to the viewing the calendar at the current time, so it's just that none of my appintments were on the screen. Had to scroll to the right time of day to see them.

I still cannot get my calendar to sync. When I initially turned the phone on it synced up just fine, but ever since yesterday it has an icon that says that it cannot sync. Anybody else have the same issue?

Come on guys, somebody has to be having this issue! Upon reading this message everyone please go to Settings>Data Synchronization>Calendar and verify that your calendar is synced up properly. Nothing that I add to my calendar on my G1 gets synced up with my google calendar, and nothing that I add via google calendar gets synced up to my G1. Please, someone help!

Seriously? I hate to be the guy that continues to bump a post just to get a response, but I need help!! Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or are you having the same issues?

lol... just so you arent alone in this thread, I'll chime in...

but... I don't have any problems wth it... i add, it syncs silently... both ways...

Thank you, I was indeed feeling very lonesome! When I initially got the G1 everything synced up just fine so I have the dates in my calendar, but when I go to settings it says that there is an issue syncing but its only with the Calendar. I don't understand what the problem is... Its kind of depressing.
