Hahahaha, that's hilarious! Tell the dude to frigging bid the $650. Who else would pay that much? He'd surely win! Sounds fishy to me...
I got an E-mail yesterday from someone who saw my G1 on Ebay, it goes like this
"Hello seller,
I just went through your listing and i see it match my search so i will like to make an immediate purchase of this item to my store into meet up with Quick Demand of it, so i will offer you the sum $650.00 for the item including the shipping cost of the item and i will be paying you with a certified PayPal so i will like you to get back to me with your paypal payment address or you send me a money request to make the payment in time.
And i will like you to get the auction ended.
Thanks waiting to read from you soon"
what do you guys think?
G1 is the Future, and Its Held in My Hands.

I certainly wouldn't trust it. Sounds too much like a standard scam.
Scam. No one would buy your G1 for $650 when you can buy another G1 from other listings for much less than that.
there is a reason ebay has those warnings everywhere!
Also one of the reasons I don't use Ebay anymore. And I had been a member for 8 years at least. I have been screwed too many times. The last time was on a $300 dollar Sidekick LX. I was paid but Paypal took the money back later after a dispute. Then Ebay keeps raising their fees. It costs too much money to list items then pay the fees after selling them. I buy from Amazon or Craigslist now.
Ok rant over lol.
hmmm.... sounds legit to me
That is definitely a scam! I have sold several phones on ebay and that is a pretty typical scam. Cell phones really attract a lot of these kinds of scams on ebay.
